City Scrabble and Birth-tea Party

Dec 5

Who say everything is better by bike?

Well on Sunday December 5th we're gonna prove Scrabble is better when played on a city wide scale with bicycles and cyclists.

The plan, we give you up to an hour to collect 8 scrabble tiles from your choice of 30 locations. Once you have the eight letters you want, cycle to the finish where on arrival you'll have to lay a word on the Scrabble board.

The first person home lays the first word, but all subsequent players returning home will have to find a place for their words on the board as it gets busier.

At the end, to make the second Birthday of Oxford Cycle Workshop Training, we're gonna throw a big winter tea party! (There will be a Birthday cake)

It all kicks off at 2.30pm on Broad Street.

Massive thanks to Simon Li who came up with the idea. If you have ideas for an event let us know !!!

Cycle Oxford events are made possible by the kind support of ByBox

Winners of this bicycle scrabble event will win the latest Bone-Shaker Magazine and t-shirt which we now stock!!!
